Welcome to the American Institute of Interior Design , a boutique Interior Design school located in Fountain Hills, Arizona, a picturesque suburb of Phoenix. We are a private post-secondary institution specializing in the practical education of Interior Designers. The American Institute of Interior Design (AIID) offers an accelerated 6-month training program leading to a Certificate in Interior Design, and is institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).
Each one year course is 30 weeks in duration. Our interior design courses focus on themes and design techniques used by leading Italian interior designers. Both Masters and beginning level courses of give the student a foundation of knowledge and skills in all areas of Interior design, interior decoration and furniture design. Our courses have been specially integrated to allow thorough exploration of each design concept. Form and functionality aspects are studied within the Studio Design Courses. Simultaneously, virtual 3D models of interiors and furniture will be created in the computer classes to further examine the visual aspects and presentation qualities of the scheme.
The Interior Design Program curriculum at SJSU prepares students for entry-level interior design practice and positions them for future professional growth in the field of interior design. The responsibilities of the interior designer encompass all spaces within environments built for human habitation. Educational philosophies and goals facilitate the development of a creative professional who can analyze problems from many different perspectives and synthesize information.
