Kitchen Cabinets Painting
One of the main concerns I had when I was thinking of painting my cabinets white was the oak grain. I did not want it to show through. Remember that first sample I had made a few years ago from a different painter that did not look good?
In most cases you do not need to remove your dishes from the cabinets. We paint the base coat paint color on the outside and inside of the cabinet doors and glaze and distress the outside of the doors. Your kitchen will be completely useable each day when we leave. Most kitchen cabinet painting projects can be finished in about two-three weeks. Most of our painting customers can save a few thousand dollars over refacing cabinets and about $10,000 over replacing with medium quality cabinets. We can even paint thermafoil or melamine cabinets. We’d love to hear from you!
Our team won’t simply show up at your MA, NH, or RI home with brushes in hand when you come to us for kitchen cabinet repainting. First, we prep by removing all of your cabinet doors and drawers – and that includes hardware. Once that’s done, your kitchen cabinets are treated to a full cleaning, stripping, and sanding before the primer goes on and a specialty top coat is applied. Some people are wary of kitchen cabinet repainting because they’re afraid of chipping, but we understand which products are hard-wearing enough for kitchens so you’ll be able to enjoy your cabinets for years to come.
Many homes have built-in cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom that can be painted or stained to good effect; your painter can make recommendations for the finish to complement the room. Preparation is important to make sure the painting causes minimal disruption – because cabinets are often in high-traffic areas, it makes sense to have dropcloths deployed and furniture removed where practicable so that the rooms are useful just as soon as the finish dries. The extra preparation and teardown are worth the extra hassle to get your room back quickly. The cost for a typical cabinet painting job including setup and teardown ranges from $285 to $856 Cabinetry Painting in Apartment
